GL events’ activities are part of a concrete approach to integrity and respect for French and international standards in terms of ethics and compliance.<\/p>\n

In this respect, GL events deploys an ethics and compliance programme that currently covers several aspects:<\/p>\n

1 – ETHICS CHARTER<\/h2>\n

Four values<\/h3>\n

Through this charter, GL events intends to promote values that are essential to the conduct of the Group’s business, both in France and internationally.<\/p>\n

These values are:<\/p>\n

– Pioneering spirit, so that every GL events employee demonstrates initiative and a sense of responsibility
– Imagination, to combine boldness and innovative solutions to serve our customers
– Respect for all stakeholders who interact with GL events
– Group spirit, so that everyone within GL events acts with complete loyalty, with the best shared ambition.<\/p>\n

Ten principles<\/h3>\n

This charter expresses GL events’ ambition to respect ten essential principles that structure our initiatives and the exercising of our businesses in all countries where the Group operates, whether on a permanent or occasional basi<\/p>\n

ETHICS CHARTER<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the governance bodies is to support the implementation of the Ethics Charter.<\/p>\n

2 – PREVENTING CORRUPTION AND INFLUENCE PEDDLING<\/h2>\n

GL events operates a system to prevent corruption and influence peddling, in line with the provisions of the law of 9 December 2016 (known as the Sapin II law).
This programme is based mainly on the following tools and actions:
– The Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct, directly inspired by the document proposed by Middlenext. This code describes prohibited behaviour and practical rules applicable to all GL events employees. Lastly, the code summarises training initiatives and whistleblowing and sanction procedures.<\/p>\n

ANTI-CORRUPTION CODE OF CONDUCT<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

– A dedicated email address is available for all alert-related contacts: compliance@gl-events.com; a platform is also available here. It is open to all GL events employees and business partners and guarantees the anonymity of whistleblowers.
– The creation of an Ethics Committee, whose purpose is the overall management of ethical alerts, in terms of corruption, influence peddling and any other subject relating to the Group’s Ethics Charter.
The Ethics Committee is responsible for the following main tasks:
– Receiving ethics alerts, in particular those relating to the prevention of corruption and influence peddling
– Dealing with ethical whistleblowers by carrying out the necessary investigations within the allotted timeframes, while scrupulously ensuring that whistleblowers are protected
– Submitting regular reports, as required, to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and to the Board of Directors of GL events.
In addition, the Ethics Committee interacts with the Ethics Officer, as required, to adapt operational training and prevention initiatives. The operating rules of the Ethics Committee are defined in a specific Charter, expressly adopted by each of its members.
– Appointing an Ethics Officer responsible for the following tasks:
– Contributing to and ensuring the effective implementation of practical measures to prevent corruption and influence peddling
– Ensuring the international deployment of legal and internal standards
– Ensuring effective training of those exposed
– Helping to run the network of referrers in the operational entities in France and abroad.
Patricia Sadoine is the GL events Ethics Officer. Patricia Sadoine is also the GL events Corporate Legal Director.<\/p>\n

3 – RELATIONS WITH THIRD PARTIES<\/h2>\n

GL events is committed to providing all third parties likely to interact with its activities, subsidiaries and employees with a set of rules of action in line with generally accepted standards.
To this end, GL events has instituted a code of business conduct specifically designed to govern its relations with third parties.
GL events intends to promote respectful relations with third parties, whether they be public entities of any kind, private or public suppliers, or commercial partners of any kind.
